About

Our Mission

To return meaning to the objects we carry.

Tsuchi — the Japanese word for earth and soil — was born from a belief that the things we choose to wear should carry weight. Not in mass, but in intention. In a world of abundance and noise, we search for objects that ask us to slow down, to notice, to remember.

Origin

Each piece is sourced from nature or shaped by hand. We travel to find objects that could not be invented — only discovered.

Ancient History

A deep reverence for history runs through every piece we create. We are drawn to the adornments of ancient civilisations — the shell pendants of the Aegean, the hammered gold of Mesopotamia, the bone and stone beads of the earliest peoples. These were not decorations. They were language, protection, identity. Our new collection of historically inspired jewellery honours that lineage, reimagining forms worn thousands of years ago with the materials the earth still offers us today.

Ritual

We believe adornment is a quiet act of ceremony. Choosing what you wear is the first ritual of your day.

Permanence

We make nothing disposable. Every object in our collection is chosen to last — to age gracefully, to be passed on.

Tsuchi

"The earth does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished."
